Founder and Editor-In-Chief

Brianna Park

is a sophomore at the International Academy Okma. She grew up surrounded by books and constantly searched for publishing opportunities for her work, usually in short fiction or poetry. Eventually she took matters into her own hands and founded The Debut Review in order to give other young student artists the same opportunities that she dreamed of. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing petty poetry, and eating cereal (Frosted Flakes or Reeses Puffs). *On translating team for Korean!*

Caitlyn Yoon

is a sophomore at IA Central. She loves to read and write poetry, but will never show anyone her own (maybe someday). For others who currently want to, she’s helping along with her fellow editors. In her spare time, she loves to read, bike, and listen to music. She also likes mints. A lot. *On translating team for Korean!*

Hyuno Kim

is a junior at Rochester Adams High School. She has always had an interest in various forms of art, specifically (but not limited to) ink, oil paint, watercolor, and poetry. She spends a majority of her spare time cooped up in her room with a sketchbook, some coffee, and classical music in the background. (She likes cucumbers). *On translating team for Korean!*

Anna Lee

Anna Lee is a senior at Shinhyeon High School in Korea. Reading has always been an irreplaceable part of her life, and she loves her little book corner in her room. She plans to attend the University of Utah in the spring, majoring in Communication. With her passion for marketing and communication, Anna is truly happy with her role at the Debut Review.

Christopher Elia

is a sophomore at IA Central. He was born in Michigan but spent his entire life in Beirut Lebanon. Growing up, he was exposed to various styles and media in Literature in various languages such as French, Arabic, and English. Chris has a passion for poetry and short stories and would often writes some pieces to pass the time. He enjoys reading poems but despises analyzing them (The Shakespeare Effect). When he is not rotting in his room, you can locate him at the nearest Home Depot warehouse in the garden accessories aisle.

Elijah Chang

Elijah Chang is a sophomore at Rochester High School. He enjoys reading and finds poetry quite fascinating. He has always had a passion for helping others, and spends a lot of his time volunteering at his local church. In his free time, he likes to play basketball and tennis.

Amira Bakari is a junior at Rochester High School. She enjoys reading classic literature, watching space movies, and writing fantasy! You can probably find her at a local cafe or library working on novel ideas.

Mihika Menon

Mihika is a 15-year old student in Singapore. She loves reading, writing, and meeting new people (fellow ENFP). She loves catching up on politics in her free time. Her favorite book right now is Where the Stars are Scattered, and her favorite movie is the Intern because she loves the way Ben's and Anne Hathaway's characters develop and progress throughout their relationship. She's super exited to see what the world has in store for her!!

is a sophomore at Internationa Academy. She enjoys reading both Japanese and English stories, both in any genre. In her free time, she likes to play soccer and travel!

is a sophomore at International Academy Okma. She was born and have lived most of her life in Michigan. She did also get to live in California but had to come back :( In her free time, which most of the time doesn't exist, she likes to play tennis, read, listen to music, and just spend time outside in general (it's a rare occurrence to go outside now unfortunately). No matter what she's doing, she's always aimed to help others in any way she can. She felt that being able to do something as simple as translating could still help and benefit many people who come to The Debut Review as a means to express themselves. She also wants to help people be able to pursue their passion with each other without having to worry about language barriers.

is a freshman anthropology student at USAC. She fell in love with poetry and literature as a teenager and she decided to start writing her own stories to find a way to materialize them. Now she’s looking for ways to share her stories through art. You can find her cuddling with her cat or thrifting at the local stores she runs into.

Mongolian

Chinguun Tsogbadrakh

is a sophomore at the 151st General Education Cambridge School of Capital City. (long name, I know!) Initially, he preferred songs over reading, but a song that led him to a piece of poetry, "Hamlet," which sparked his passion for literature. After that, he studied English to delve into the works of Eric Frank Russell, as well as Russian, to explore the writings of Leo Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoevsky. Word of advice on where to find him? Go to the library, He'll most likely be in there.

is an introverted sophomore at Smk Indahpura 1, and she absolutely loves all things art! Whether it’s poetry or drawing, her passion shines through in everything she creates. Obviously, she's quite the introvert, as you can see from her lack of a picture, and if you’re looking for her, you’ll often find her lounging in her comfy bed or chair, happily immersed in her latest art piece. The patience she wields is something special indeed!
