Harry Potter? Cat in the Hat? Cinderella? Remember the characters from your childhood? Some kids never get the opportunity to meet these characters or experience these wonderful fantasy worlds because there are no libraries near them. These past few months, The Debut Review decided to start a long-term project of stocking a small community library in El Coyote, Mexico.
We owe so much to Bloomfield Township Public Library for the wonderful book donations and all of our donors who helped us buy both English and Spanish books.
Our first shipment went out a few weeks ago. It was not much--just a box of children's books--but this is only the beginning. We still have countless boxes left to be sorted and shipped, and more fundraisers planned out for the future.
